He played an integral part in some of the most memorable, politically sensitive and critically important events of the George W. Bush presidency including Presidential visits to the Pentagon and Ground Zero in New York City in the days immediately following the events of 9/11/2001. He was on the ground planning and executing the President’s first unannounced visit to Afghanistan. He also participated in the planning and execution of several last minute bilateral and multilateral summits as well as the President’s second unannounced visit to Iraq. Todd led the team responsible for Presidential visits to areas affected by natural disasters such as the Midwestern tornadoes of 2003, wildfires in California, Oregon and Arizona and along the Gulf Coast in the aftermath of hurricanes Ivan, Katrina and Rita. He did the same for incidents of national significance like the Space Shuttle Columbia explosion, Minnesota bridge collapse and Virginia Tech University shooting.

Todd also worked in the U.S. Senate for the Joint Congressional Committee on Inaugural Ceremonies as the Director of Advance and Logistics. In this role he was part of the team responsible for the planning and execution of events for the 59th Inauguration of President Biden and Vice-President Harris. Other project examples include leading the advance operation for interim Starbucks CEO Howard Schultz’s 2020 exploratory effort. He also managed projects for Facebook and served as Project Manager in support of the George W. Bush Institute’s African First Ladies Summit in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania.

All this experience has given him a wealth of knowledge when it comes to planning and executing all types of events, large and small, for stakeholders from different sectors with differing priorities.
